1. the famous view from the twelve pane window. breathtaking.
2. filling the new built-ins. this makes me completely happy.
3. little shelves above fireplace featuring mini white vases. and a bird, of course.
4. the overwhelmingly large piano that could not be removed became my place of decorating. you like? too much?
5. unpacking the cute little vintage kitchen. island-ish thing is to the right of where i'm standing. happy dance inflicted.
6. ahh yes. mindless entertainment. thank you very much.

so i realized something while i was looking at your pictures...i realized that a person {ehemm...YOU} with cute things & cute girls & a cute family will have a FREAKING CUTE HOUSE even if they put her in the *previously* ugliest house in america.
i also realized that i am quite sad you will be in dallas while i'll be in the nw.
namely because i will miss you. ...but also because if you were NOT going to be gone, i'd invoke a new tradition of buying one vase/bowl/cuteness each month that jon is gone--and you would help me. and no, you didn't have a choice in that ;)
